In 1973, Jackie and I married at the very young age of seventeen. We never gave our health a thought, that was the doctor's job. If you got sick, or had a problem you went to the doctor.
At the age of thirty-five my health was failing. I wasn't aware of it until years later, but I actually began making adjustments in regards to my health by doing things like cutting the extra salt from my diet, and I quit smoking cigarettes. I now know these steps helped greatly but. . .
I needed a career change. Being the family body rubber since we were married, Jackie suggested I go to massage school. I went. Boy! The most powerful lesson learned was "I'm responsible for my health, not the doctor." Just Me.
So, I began taking supplements, eating organic food, cleaning my air, reading, educating myself, meditating, drinking more water, and I began seeing improvements in my general, overall health. However, I believed that most of the improvements were due to the specific complex carbohydrate diet presented in the book "Breaking the Vicious Cycle" I was on for ulcerative colitis. I began to really question the value in vitamin supplementation.
Our friend, Rebecca, kept telling us about these liquid vitamins she was getting from a company called Biometics™. We would visit and she would fix us this vitamin drink. Rebecca kept talking about this stuff month after month. Finally, she asked Jackie to just take it every day for 30 days! We agreed.
That was in February of 2000. After about two weeks, I was feeling better than I ever remembered feeling. In three weeks, I was getting up in the morning, before Jackie. During the first three months, my hair quit falling out, I did more work in just a few months than I had in the last year and a half. I had energy to spare. I gradually began to forget to get coffee, my coffee consumption used to be measured by pots, now I have 1-3 cups, and occasionally none at all.
After being on the Biometics™ products for about eight months, I noticed my hair was fuller and softer. I also noticed that my fingernail which would crumble if I allowed it to get too long, was growing just like the others.
In March 2000, we were having such good results, Jackie decided to explore the business possibilities with these products. Jackie worked and got us qualified for a training/holiday in West Lake Village, California. When we returned from our trip, I was convinced and agreed that we had another business.
After 19 months of using just the Biometics™ nutritional products, my body shape was changing, people commented that I looked GOOD, I had more color to my complexion and more sustained energy.
November 30, 2003. I find it amazing how time goes so quickly. Just as I work and watch our grandchildren grow, I work and watch our business grow. I find I'm not surprised in the least when someone tells me about how their body and health are changing. I now get more excited and charged when I hear about someone who discovered what happens when you take back your power, and begin taking responsibility for your health.
